TALKING POINTS AND SUGGESTIONS

1. Identify yourself as a member of the MRCAction Team.
2. Tell them you are outraged by both the content and timing of the recent attack article on John McCain (2/21/08)
3. The Times is promoting on its front page a potential scandal that is based on innuendo and no hard facts.
4. The story -- which has no new information -- was held since December further reveals that the Times has an agenda in this election year. If the Times had a real story on McCain, why hold it until after the nomination was secured?
5. The Times should retract the story and issue an apology to its readers.
6. Furthermore, the Times must immediately cease and desist from such intentional efforts to sway the 2008 elections.
