Red Cross Refuses Full Disclosure On Suspect Blood
CNSNews.com -- the online news division of Media Research Center
-- just released a
breaking story regarding the Red Cross’
refusal to release information on 1,000 units of suspect blood
that were released into the general population and may have
represented a major health risk.
Last month, the FDA fined the Red Cross $4.6 million for
improperly handling the suspect blood. Since that time,
CNSNews.com has asked the Red Cross to disclose some key
information on the tainted blood:
--Were all 1,000 suspect units destroyed?
--Did any of the suspect blood make it into the veins of
patients?
--Did any patients get sick from the blood?
What response did CNSNews receive from the Red Cross? Simply
this: “The Red Cross is not able to release that information,”
said a spokesperson. They faced similar stonewalling from the FDA.
